British Girls Under-16 Amateur Championship

Ashleigh Critchley (Kettering) got better as the week progressed in the British Girls Under-16 Amateur Championship as she finished 40th with scores of 83, 81 and 77 at Fulford GC.
Although Northampton’s Leah Ribano struggled for consistency on her way to finishing 88th, she did have the thrill of bagging an eagle three on the fourth hole in her second round.
With Baylie Pyke also having played in the Irish Girls Under-18 Open Stroke Play Championship last month at Roganstown Golf & Country Club, the next generation of county ladies golfers continue to gain more experience.
