Overstone Park

Lee Cross and Peter Etheridge were the pair to catch in the second round of the Overstone Park Fourball Betterball Pairs competition after shooting a net 56.
Mark White and Nick Fowkes took second on countback from Dan Green and Anthony Thompson.

Benn Kirkham recorded a big win in the March Weekend Stableford as his 16-hole total of 40 points lifted him six clear of Josh Dowling.

James Petitt covered the opening seven holes in gross one over par on his way to a winning score of 37 points in the Mid-Week Stableford. The 13-handicapper finished one ahead of Gordon Chiverton and David Billing.

Wellingborough

One shot was the margin of success in both the Saturday and Sunday March Medals at Wellingborough as Colin Armstrong and Andrew Welsh took the respective plaudits.

Mid-handicapper Armstrong carded net 69 to edge clear of Edward Billson and Andrew Wainwright on the first day, while Welsh’s net 70 clinched top spot 24 hours later ahead of high-handicapper Carl Morgan.

Priors Hall

Sean Feeley and Scott Gordon enjoyed a single point victory in the latest Doubles Stableford at Priors Hall as they nudged ahead of three pairings.

Jack Marr and Robert Draper (42 points) claimed the runners-up spot on countback from Stuart Bayes and Fraser Kerr, with Tom O’Donnell and Robert Muir in fourth position.

Gerry Cummins never looked back after carding a birdie on the opening hole in the Seniors March Stableford as he grabbed first prize by one point from John McConnell (39).

Rushden

Daniel Stratford beat the course at Rushden by two holes to comfortably win the March Sunday Bogey Competition ahead of Karl Freeman (three down) and Mike Butts (five down).
