Priors Hall

A strong start sent Michael Bihanycz on the way to victory in the September Medal at Priors Hall as the 19-handicapper completed the opening six holes in one under par gross in a brilliant winning round of net 63.

Billy Fisher’s birdie on the 18th hole in a net 68 clinched the runners-up spot by one from half a dozen players.

Peterborough Milton

High-handicappers Araz Massraf and Tim Downes compiled the leading two scores of net 67 and 68 respectively in Peterborough Milton’s September Medal. William Clark (69) was successful in the Junior competition by one from Charlie Pearce.

Wellingborough

Dereck Jewkes gained a countback victory from Alan Perkins in the Mixed Sunday Stableford at Wellingborough after both players came in with excellent totals of 43 points.

Rushden

Daniel Stratford carded a winning score of net 64 in the September Mixed Medal at Rushden as the 18-handicapper finished two clear of Andrew Watts, with Ben Ephgrave a further three strokes back in third place.

Kettering

Mark Franklin needed countback to get the better of Kim Davis in Kettering’s September Mid-week Stableford after both mid-handicapper’s compiled the leading total of 40 points.
