Ladies Goodyear Cup

Diane Dickinson (Wellingborough) did just enough to hold off the challenge of Oggie Wentworth (Elton Furze) in the Ladies Goodyear Cup as she triumphed on countback at Northampton GC.

In a competition featuring 56 ladies from Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire, Dickinson’s better finish proved crucial as she edged out Wentworth after both came in with the joint-leading score of net 70.
