Ben Lavender had to be content with the runners-up spot in both the sixth and seventh rounds of the nine-hole Junior Winter Series as Matthew Reeve (22) and Harrison Taylor (19) took the respective honours.

Farthingstone
Anthony McCormack had a cracking couple of days at Farthingstone as he won the Good Friday Comp on countback from Jamie Oswell, before strolling to a six point victory in the Easter Saturday Comp.
Paul Dale was another club member in great touch earlier in the week as he bagged 42 points to beat Matthew Isaacs by two in the Winter Bash.

Staverton Park
Paul Lee (21 points) proved too strong for Charles Smedley (20) on the outward stretch in the last Seniors Front Nine competition, while Ossie Williams (20) needed countback to beat Brian Coleman over the inward loop.

Overstone Park
Peter Harrison’s net 67 secured the plaudits in the March Seniors Medal as he nudged one ahead of Ronald Fuller. Top division duo Stephen Byrom and Gary Wild (both 72) were next.

Hellidon Lakes
Ted Craig transferred his winter League form into the Summer League as he clinched the top prize in the opening event with 40 points.
After winning four winter competitions, including two of the last three, Craig nudged one in front of Steve Trotman.

Whittlebury Park
Mid-handicapper Jason Brotherston beat the course by five holes to win the Tony Dear Bogey competition on countback from Chris Van Heerden. Ian Evans and Mark James (both three up) were next.

Daventry
One point was the margin of victory in the fifth Winter Stableford as George Bushell (37) squeezed in front of Ray Lewis. Third place went to Mat Simmonds-Curd on 35.
