European Challenge Tour

Wellingborough professional Ryan Evans collected his first prize money of the year on the European Challenge Tour after finishing in a tie for 13th in the Northern Ireland Open at Galgorm GC.

After being starved of competitive opportunities due to the coronavirus outbreak, Evans found his form in his fourth Challenge Tour appearance of 2020 as he posted scores of 71, 65, 71 and 68.

Although Overstone Park’s Harry Woan missed the cut on his Challenge Tour debut, he will take the positives after responding from an opening 76 with birdies on two of the last three holes in a level par 70 on day two.
