Wellingborough’s Mark Davis completed the inward stretch in gross two under par to win the January Midweek Stableford on countback with 38 points.
Despite dropping three shots in his opening five holes, the former county champion responded with a birdie on the sixth before picking up further shots at the 13th and 15th holes to edge out John Arnott.
