Overstone Park

Taylor Sargeant, Lee Cross, Chris Canham and Mark White collected the top prize in the Overstone Park Christmas Spirits Stableford Shotgun Competition after shooting an excellent total of 130 points.

Max Payne, Mike Spence, Glen Craddock and Ruth Cross (123) finished second on countback from the quartet of Dale Burton, Dean Gray, Jason Brice and Steve Watkins.

Wellingborough

Alan Bird, Sam Waite, David Jackson and Pete Heyward compiled 91 points to win the Captain’s Drive-In Team Competition at Wellingborough by three from Alun Rees, Chris Otterwell, Les Hillman and Derek Saunders.

Nigel Thompson, Graeme McKim, David Simpson and Richard Reynolds (87) finished third on countback from new Club Captain Glyn Pepper, previous skipper Roy Pouncey, Glen Gulla and Steve Hammond.

Priors Hall

Three gross birdies were on the winning scorecard of David Smith in the fourth round of the Winter League at Priors Hall as he posted a superb 11-hole tally of 29 points. Kevin Bullimore and Charles Frost both finished one off the pace.

A single point was also the margin of success in the fourth round of the Seniors Winter Eclectic as Graeme Thomson (26) got the better of Martin Newman.

Rushden

Michael Quincey did just enough to seal top spot in the Rushden Captains Farewell Competition as he edged out Paul Bewers and Ian Brown on countback with 39 points.
