Wellingborough

Dereck Jewkes is the early pacesetter in the Wellingborough Seniors Lonsdale Trophy after shooting 38 points in the opening competition. Jim Nolan (37) finished runner-up, with Neil Smith, John Barklamb and Paul Leeson next on 36.

Carol Gibbs produced the standout performance in the Ladies March Stableford as the Club champion posted the winning total of 35 points.

Overstone Park

Forty five points was a magnificent winning score in the March Yellow Tee Stableford at Overstone Park as Fred White bagged the plaudits.

The high-handicapper kept the big numbers off his scorecard to finish three ahead of Chris Johnson and Douglas Smith, who took second and third respectively.

Priors Hall

Eight gross pars and three bogeys in the opening 11 holes at Priors Hall sent Malcolm Thompson on the way to victory in the March Seniors Stableford.

The 11-handicapper nudged a single point ahead of Fran Magee (34), with Daniel Lowe in third position on 33.

Kettering

Harry Darby and Bob Wood narrowly missed out on their second victory of 2023 at Kettering as they had to settle for the runners-up prize in the Seniors Fourball Betterball Competition. Their total of 47 points was one shy of the score recorded by Mark Penn’s team.

Rushden

Yvonne Wilcox, Fay Dixon-Kelly and Pam Digby combined perfectly to clinch the top prize in the fifth round of Rushden’s Ladies Winter League as the trio shot the best total of 31 points.

Elton Furze

Sue Pawson needed countback to get the better of Trish Crighton and Patricia Whittamore in the Elton Furze Ladies March Stableford after all three players carded the leading tally of 33 points.
