Wellingborough

Raj Kooner and Isaac Richardson both enjoyed convincing wins in the September Mid-week Medal and Junior Stableford competitions at Wellingborough.

High-handicapper Kooner carded a net 66 to finish four ahead of Lawrence Berryman in the men’s event, while Richardson’s 41 points enabled him to finish five clear of fellow youngster Ewan Clee.

Priors Hall

Mason Lenaghan was successful in the Matt McIlwain Cups at Priors Hall as the high-handicapper’s net 64 earned him a three shot victory from Richard Glithero.

John Smith also finished three clear of the field a few days earlier as he took the Seniors Stableford plaudits with 41 points.

Overstone Park

Forty four points was a magnificent winning score in two separate competitions on consecutive days at Overstone Park.

High-handicapper Del Hewer dropped just three shots over the front nine on his way to a five point victory in the Yellow Tee Stableford, before Ryan McAllister and James Gibson combined perfectly in the Wheeler Cup Greensomes 24 hours later.

Peterborough Milton

Pete Thompson bagged the leading score of 42 points in the Peterborough Milton Senior Captain’s Charity Day as he nudged one ahead of Brent Joyce.

Kettering

The first two divisions of the Seniors September Stableford at Kettering witnessed winning scores of 38 points as Graham Gelsthorpe and Martin Watts took the honours respectively.

Rushden

Ian Wills came out on top in Rushden’s Autumn Meeting as a net 67 secured a single stroke victory from David Patrick.
