Paul Ritchie smashed a magnificent round of net 64 to win the Kingsthorpe Ford Medal by two shots from Lee O’Connor.
Simon Kerr, who posted the joint-best gross round of level par 69 with O’Connor, finished one stroke further back alongside mid-handicappers John Wyatt and Roger Boswell.
Wayne Brown and his partner were victorious in Staverton Park’s Print Trophy Foursomes Medal with a score of net 68. Russell Brown and Josh Morris finished a couple of shots adrift in the runners-up position.
Ludlow Johnson was the only player lucky enough to beat his handicap in the 13th round of the Tigers Summer Eclectic at Hellidon Lakes as he compiled a winning total of 37 points. Mark Courtney and Joe Kingston were next on 35 apiece.
Alan Cooper’s tally of 40 points at Daventry clinched the Ellis Price Memorial Trophy by four from Alan Matchett, with Geoff Freeman taking third prize on 34.
