Staverton Park

Michael Forgione and David Fletcher compiled the joint-best individual score of 40 points in Staverton Park’s March Stableford as they both finished four ahead of Michael Christie.

In the latest Seniors Winter Series event, Ian Machell led the way in the first division as he carded 23 points over the front nine to finish two clear of Mark Robson and Mick Worthington.

Tony Pernyes won the second division by a couple of points from Charles Smedley after shooting 21 over the inward stretch.

Daventry

An excellent round of net 65 from Kevin Everett clinched victory in the sixth Winter Medal at Daventry.

The 15-handicapper finished three clear of Lenny Newell, with Jack Cooper, Tyrone Power, Darren Robinson and Andy Davids all shooting 69.

Hellidon Lakes

A round of net 68 secured first prize for Marc Greenshield in the Hellidon Lakes March Medal as he beat Tony Inskip by two strokes.

Countback was needed in the 17th round of the Tigers Winter Merit League after Thomas Haydon and Richard Barnes both carded 35 points. The former gained the verdict.

Whittlebury Park

Phil Heavey was successful in the latest 9 O’Clock Competition at Whittlebury Park after posting the leading score of 38 points. The 16-handicapper finished four in front of Paul Brunning, with Gordon Hewett in third on 33.

Delapre

Thomas Philbin’s tally of 40 points secured top spot in the sixth Delapre Winter Series event as he nudged one ahead of Wayne Lloyd, with Christopher Chapman and Ashley Buchanan a further point off the pace.

Collingtree Park

Jessica Barby was crowned Collingtree Park Junior Winter Series champion after collecting 38 points during the off-season. Krishan Panesar (34) finished runner-up by one from Seb Welch.
