Stuart Metcalf won the 16th round of the Winter Merit League at Hellidon Lakes as a tally of 37 points lifted the 19-handicapper one ahead of David Knight and Tony Shortt.
Two points was the difference between first and second in the 17th round as Robert Riley (39) grabbed the plaudits from Peter Bosworth.

Peter Butterwick produced the standout performance in the latest Farthingstone Winter Bash as a tally of 43 points saw his handicap drop into single figures. Anthony McCormack (40) finished runner-up by three from Robert Colby and David Carthew.

Alan Warren and Keith Faulkner were the respective winners of the latest two Seniors Winter Stablefords at Collingtree Park.
Warren bagged 41 points to finish two ahead of John Coker in week nine, while Faulkner needed countback to get the better of David Fleet (both 40) a few days later.
