Meghan MacLaren goes into the biggest week of her season in competitive form as she plays in the final qualifying series for the 2020 LPGA Tour at Pinehurst, North Carolina.
The Wellingborough pro tees off on Pinehurst No. 6 on Wednesday as she competes over four days, before transferring to Pinehurst No. 9 from Wednesday, October 30th.
With a cut being made after two more rounds, the 25-year-old, who is one of just two English pros alongside Holly Clyburn to reach the latter stages, will then be looking to join fellow county pro Charley Hull on the LPGA Tour.
The two-time winner on the Ladies European Tour made it through to the last event by two strokes after finishing tied 24th in the second stage of LPGA Qualifying on the Panther and Bobcat courses at Venice, Florida.
After scores of 70 and 73 respectively, MacLaren carded five birdies in an eight-hole stretch during a third round of 68 on the Panther layout, before keeping her nerve on the final day as she posted a level par 72 on the Bobcat.
