Overstone Park
Richard Tickle’s handicap was cut twice in consecutive weeks at Overstone Park after high finishes in the March Yellow Tee Mid-Week Stableford and Seniors Division 2 Yellow Tee Stableford.
The 19-handicapper carded 42 points to grab the runners-up spot behind Ivan Neighbour in the first competition, before he bagged the same total on his way to fourth place seven days later to see his handicap drop to 16. Andy Fairweather also witnessed a substantial cut from 20 to 17 after posting 46 points.

Collingtree Park
Jensen Parfitt’s brilliant score of 42 points clinched the top prize in the opening major of the season at Collingtree Park as he won the Colonial by one from Joe Mennell.
Arthur Johnson’s score of 37 points secured first position in the 14th round of the Seniors Winter Stableford as he nudged clear of Don Parker (36).

Wellingborough
Olivia Barby made the ideal start to the 2019 Wellingborough Junior Order of Merit as she earned wins in both the nine-hole competitions held in March.
In the first event, an excellent score of 20 points proved enough for her to grab top spot ahead of joint runners-up Harris Chacksfield and Jack Meakin.
The 2018 NGL Junior Order of Merit Girls Nine-hole champion was even more impressive two weeks later as she posted a magnificent winning tally of 25 points to finish three ahead of Theo Brown.

Stoke Albany
Countback was required on a difficult day for scoring in the March Stableford at Stoke Albany after four players came in with the leading mark of 36 points.
Four gross pars and five bogeys over the inward stretch made the difference for Stuart Bayes as the 12-handicapper edged out Robert Lovegrove, Andrew Rose and Kim Davis.

Priors Hall
Tom O’Donnell and David Hughes were successful in the latest Priors Hall Doubles Stableford as a tally of 43 points lifted them two ahead of Tommy Sheridan and Thomas Smith.
