NGL Junior Order of Merit

Jadon Pham (Overstone Park) and Molly-May Baker (Northants County) are the respective Boys and Girls leaders in both the gross and net categories of the NGL Junior Order of Merits following the last two events on the 2022 schedule.

In the Northampton Junior Open, Pham finished third in the gross behind Oliver Godwin (Overstone) and Oliver Penberthy (County), who both compiled the joint-best boys gross round of 74. Toby Heath and Mackenzie Warden (both Northampton) carded the leading boys net score of 61.

Jen Kyle (Overstone) produced a magnificent back nine to win the girls net prize with a superb net 60, while Jade Potter fired a level par gross 73 on her home course to claim the gross plaudits.

The Cold Ashby Junior Open a few days later saw Krishan Panesar (Northants County) shoot a net 69 to earn a countback victory in the boys net competition from Penberthy, who also finished runner-up to Pham (76) in the gross.

Overstone’s Amy Nunn completed a gross (64) and net (72) girls double from Baker, who heads the gross and net overall standings from Nunn’s younger sister Emily.

With the top 10 players in each of the 18-hole categories qualifying for the Grand Final, the Peterborough Milton Junior Open is this week, with the next Junior Open taking place at Wellingborough on Thursday, August 11th.
