Reigning champions start with big away win

Reigning champions Whittlebury Park produced a blistering away performance at Brampton Heath as they romped to a 6-1 victory in their opening Group D fixture.
Although Rosemarie Hardie took the first point for the hosts, Whittlebury responded quickly through Christine Coles and Beverley Price, before Denise Prescott, Carole King, Tina Murdock and Juliette Parish added further away wins.
