Division 1

Peterborough Milton maintained their 100% winning record in the top section of the Scratch League with a 6½-1½ home success against Northants County.

Although Michael Wood and Chris White both completed big individual wins for the hosts, the overall result remained in the balance as all the other six ties reached the closing hole.

It was the home side, who prevailed on the majority of occasions however as Adam Barker, Matt Pettit, Adam Scott and Ian Wicks secured points, while Jacob Williams collected a half.

Division 3

Brampton Heath suffered their first defeat of the third division campaign as they lost a thrilling away contest with Daventry by one point.

With three of the six matches finishing all square, Brampton gave themselves a chance of glory when Philip Anderson clinched the second game on the 18th hole.

But Daventry, who beat Oundle 6-0 in their previous home match, proved too strong in the other two ties as James Weale and Mat Simmonds-Curd grabbed wins with holes to spare.
