Wellingborough pro Tiger Adams will be looking to find his best form in South Africa later this month as he aims to secure a place on the Sunshine Tour for the 2022 season.
The 22-year-old battled his way through the first round of Qualifying School in mid-January when he finished five shots inside the cut mark after carding rounds of 71, 74 and 69 at Maccauvlei GC.
Adams said: “I was the top ranked British player in pre-qualifying earlier this year, when the tournament was shortened to 54 holes due the bad weather. I finished tied 14th on two-under-par.
“I will play a few warm up events on the Bushveld and IGT Tours this month, before playing the 72 hole Final Stage Sunshine Tour Q-School over 72 holes at Heron Banks Golf and River Estate. I hope to pick up one of the 25 cards up for grabs.”
