England Golf Awards

Adam Chamberlain, Eloise Feely and Whittlebury Park were recognised for their exceptional work during the last year, even though they missed out on the top prize in their nominated categories at the 2022 England Golf Awards.

Peterborough Milton pro Chamberlain was up for Participation and Development Coach of the Year, while Northants County teenager Feely was shortlisted for Young Ambassador of the Year.

Whittlebury Park was in the top four for Tournament Venue of the Year after successfully hosting the English Open for Golfers with a Disability last season.

England Golf CEO Jeremy Tomlinson said: “Our wonderful game can only thrive if volunteers, coaches, club staff and county officials put in countless hours behind the scenes to improve the experience for all golfers.

“It’s important to shine a light on the work being done by those who do not court publicity, but who deserve to be recognised for their exceptional contributions.

“In England, we are extremely lucky to be blessed with so many incredible people who care so passionately about golf.”
