Fundraiser of the Year awards for Northants pro

Kingsthorpe professional David Poolton completed a notable double as he won The PGA in Northamptonshire Fundraiser of the Year and the Midlands PGA Fundraiser of the Year awards.

Poolton received the honours, from MPGA Chairman Rodney Holt, after helping raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK by holding golf charity events and auctions at his home club during the last 12 months.
