Overstone Park

Kathy Dodson lifted the Ladies Autumn Trophy at Overstone Park after beating Katie Watkins, Averil Sutcliffe and Amy Nunn on countback with 37 points. Abigail Kyle clinched the Ladies Autumn Plate with 36.

Four gross pars in six holes around the turn helped Chris Cooke win the November Yellow Tee Mid-Week Stableford as the high-handicapper triumphed by one point from Rob Wake, Stephen McGee, Marlene Roy and George Marston (all 37).

Staverton Park

Ray Smith showed his skills over the outward stretch at Staverton Park as he won the Seniors Red Group nine-hole competition by two points from Ossie Williams (19).

Allen Halliday and Tim McCreadie both shot the leading score of 19 points in the Blue Group over the back nine.

Whittlebury Park

Paul Brunning picked up the Glyn’s Winter Jug at Whittlebury Park after winning the 9 O’Clock Club Competition on countback with 16 medalford points. Barrie Vearncombe was runner-up, with Raymond Swann in third place.

Kingsthorpe

Mark Todkill and his partner were successful in the third week of the Winter League at Kingsthorpe after posting 47 points in the Betterball Stableford. Neil Dunkley and Rob Cary were runners-up on countback from Bob Lees and Bob Wright (46).

Daventry

Countback was required in the second Daventry Winter Stableford after Paul Taylor and Jack Cooper both came in with the leading score of 41 points. The former took the honours, thanks to his better finish.

Hellidon Lakes

Gavin Aris was a convincing winner of the November Stableford at Hellidon Lakes as a tally of 38 points lifted him six clear of Darren Welsh.
