Lords prize to help Kettering juniors

Kettering GC member Nick Murray is looking to raise money for the club’s junior section, and also Rainbows Hospice charity, by auctioning off a special prize to watch a Specsavers championship cricket match at Lords this year.
The exceptional package offers two guests the opportunity to sit in the white benches of the Lords members concourse, step foot inside the prestigious Lords Pavilion and visit the fabled Long Room.
Murray said: “MCC Membership with this access at Lords has a 27 year waiting list for entry so this package is a must for cricket enthusiasts. Only a select few will have this opportunity in their lifetime.
“I recently won this money-can’t-buy prize in a raffle, but it is no good to me unfortunately. I have already had a bid of £300 but potentially it could fetch much more than this.
“Whatever money is raised I will split between Kettering Golf Club Juniors and the charity my company supports, Rainbows Hospice. If anyone is interested in making a bid, please call me on 07967 378373 or email nick.murray3@btinternet.com.”
