League county golfer Charley Hull maintained her record of never missing the cut in the opening major of the season as she finished tied 25th in the Chevron Championship at Rancho Mirage in California.

Hull, who made her debut in the competition as a 16-year-old in 2012, carded back-to-back rounds of one-under-par 71 on the first two days before moving up the leaderboard with a third 69.

Despite grabbing birdies on three of the opening four holes on the last day, a triple bogey on the 11th hole ended any hopes of a top five spot as a closing 73 meant she finished 10 strokes behind the winner, Jennifer Kupcho.
