LPGA Tour Qualifying

Meghan MacLaren’s hopes of competing on the LPGA Tour full time next year were ended at the second stage of Q School as she missed the cut in Florida.
The Wellingborough pro carded two rounds of level par 72 on the Bobcat course and scores of 72 and 76 on the Panther layout as finished four strokes outside the top 40.
MacLaren, who went to University in Florida, will still enjoy full playing rights on the Ladies European Tour next year following her success in the Women’s NSW Open in Australia in early March.
Fellow County golfer Charley Hull, meanwhile, was unable to build on her second place finish in the KEB Hana Bank Championship as she pulled out of the Buick Shanghai event with illness after an opening round of 73.
