NGL Junior Order of Merit

Josh Bodimeade (Overstone Park) coped best with the weather conditions in the penultimate NGL Junior Order of Merit event of the season as he won the net prize in the Wellingborough Junior Open.

With the 18-hole competition being reduced to 12 holes due to the extreme heat, the 21-handicapper carded six gross pars to nudge one stroke ahead of Mackenzie Warden (Northampton) with a net 40.

Overstone club-mate Jadon Pham strengthened his position at the summit of the Boys Gross Order of Merit as he finished a single shot ahead of Cameron Black (Northampton) in the Boys gross category.

Eloise Feely (Northants County) moved to the top of the Girls Gross Order of Merit after beating home club member Olivia Barby by five shots with a gross 51, while Lily Davies (Northampton) led the Girls net scoring on 43.

With Wellingborough holding separate competitions for higher-handicappers, Seb Welch (Delapre) won the nine-hole event by one shot from Kai Peggs (Peterborough Milton), while Eloise McIntyre (Overstone) clinched the Girls 150-yard top prize.
