Elliot Strickland and Leah Ribano were crowned Northampton Golf Club Boys and Girls champions respectively for 2020 as competitive golf returned to the club for the first time since lockdown.
With all the lower handicappers playing 18 holes on both Saturday and Sunday in challenging weather conditions, Strickland grabbed the Boys gross title after posting rounds of 77 and 79.
County first team player Ribano led from start to finish in the Girls gross category as she secured top spot with a magnificent 36-hole gross total of level par 144.
The net prizes went to Harrison Panther and Lara Auld, while Elise Warden compiled the best round of net 66 on the Sunday.
With over 30 juniors taking part in the event, the second day also witnessed a nine-hole competition for the higher-handicappers as Lily Davies took the honours thanks to a tally of 21 points.
