NGL Junior League Final

Peterborough Milton’s C team used all their local knowledge to good effect as they beat the Club’s B team 3½-½ in the Junior League Final on their own course.
In the second all-Peterborough Final in the last four years, Ollie Clark held off a strong fightback from Megan Chandler to secure the first point for the C team with a birdie on the tough 14th hole.
Shivani Karthikeyan wasted little time in doubling their advantage as she overcame Emily Horsted on the 15th hole, before Oscar Bell confirmed the team success by beating Ellie Horsted on the same green.
After enjoying some excellent results on their way to the showpiece match, it was only fitting that the B team avoided a whitewash as Charlie Pearce grabbed a half in the remaining game against Rylan Thomas.
